Sidcot Quaker Meeting is part of the wider family of Quakers in Britain.
Quakers share a way of life, rather than a set of beliefs. For us, the divine is a matter of personal direct experience or aspiration. This experience needs neither clergy nor ritual, neither sanctified space nor creed.
The Quaker way has its roots in Christianity and many Quakers find inspiration in the Bible and in the life and teachings of Jesus. Quakers also find meaning and value in the scriptures of other faiths.
